Fit For A Queen...Or A King!

By Sherry Aalto

When you combine the days of yester-year with modern day design in living accommodations, you undoubtedly get the one thing everyone wants in the place they call home, and that is, comfort, style and nostalgia 'Fit For A Queen...Or A King!'

Mr. Mike McNabb Sr., bestows all the credit to his wife Cathy Watson and his son Michael McNabb Jr., as they were the driving force for having brought renewed life to a well known and long remembered landmark in Thunder Bay. The Queen Elizabeth Public School, which
was/is located on Ontario Street in Thunder Bay is now nearing completion for taking on a new face and a new purpose. The former school, which is fondly remembered by many who attended there, has been redesigned into beautifully appointed condominium-like suites.

Ranging from attractive bachelor suites to unique three bedroom suites, the units speak volumes of comfort, elegance and spaciousness, boasting 10' 6” high ceilings for some of the suites and 12 foot high ceilings for others.  Very large windows will welcome in the light of day and beauty of the night. With the added features of hardwood floors, precision cuts of finishing trim, attractive lighting, beautiful cabinets and counter tops, state of the art appliances and layout of the floor plan, not to mention absolutely conveniently located to just about anything you might want to be close to, these units will not last long.
Some of the suites have already been secured for occupancy and the new tenants are doing their best to wait patiently for the completion of the project.  Excitedly, so are the owners of this new presentation. Plans are also moving forward in the development of new additional suites to be built adjacent to, but on the same large property, of the former school.
The suites themselves embellish that 'up-town' opulence, in a 'downtown' location. It is really great to see 'modern meeting memories'.  And for those who don't want to miss out, you won't ever be sent to the office...but maybe you should call the office and arrange for your personal tour of their model suite and your possible new place you'll call home! You'll love it!
